I'm Dr. Megan Wise, PT, DPT
I know that modern productions have unique problems, and they require modern solutions that are safe, affordable, simple, & effective.
Today's shows are much more physically demanding on cast and crew. Performers on the stage are given a specific allotment of PT, but wardrobe and crew are amongst the most injured and they are promised very little, if any, PT.

As workers compensation cases, medical leaves, and call outs rise, your costs increase, but the current system of backstage PT does not address this problem because it leaves out the majority of individuals who are most at risk and are most injured.
There is a way to reduce the financial and human cost of performing arts: investing in a health and wellness system.
I ensure that your show Does go on consistently and safely from day one of rehearsals until closing night.
Basic physical therapy is not enough.
Our goal is to not just to tape, massage, and stretch performers to get rid of pain, but avoid injuries and reduce risks throughout the whole company. You have the option to reduce risks and keep costs lower by partnering with someone who understands the business side of Broadway, the actual performance, and the healthcare system. Some PTs know one or two of these, but we know all of them and how to combine them for the perfect system.
Services & Philosophy
The Broadway PT is not just backstage treatment. Our goal is to prevent and reduce injuries from the beginning of a show's process. We don't wait to implement strategies after problems have occurred; We help build a successful production with physical health and safety in mind.
Our system is built upon 3 distinct and equally important pillars:
Teaching, Treating, & Training. We incorporate these pillars into all of my company health services, which are listed below.

- Production Supervisor
Megan will be a game changer for your company! She is organized, kind, and talented and even though I have used it myself and know how good her work is, the performers rave about her. Every time we have worked with Megan, she is so consistent in her work ethic and care. Her flexibility and work ethic are unmatched; with the schedule and the nature of how injuries occur she does her best to be available to her clients. If you are starting a new production, get her in early so she can be the most helpful to your show!
Megan is literally magic. I've been to other PTs and they just don't work as well and as fast as her for long term results. I also recently started Pilates training with her in hopes that she will help me to stop breaking things for her to then fix later. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money trying to find someone better!
- Wardrobe
Megan is wonderful! She is very thorough and kind. She made sure to fully explain my injury and what specifically was causing my pain. I noticed improvement after just the first week thanks to the exercises she gave me. As a dancer, I know I am in good hands with Megan!
